Welcome to Matt Shaw Concrete, Inc! Our founder, Matt Shaw, is a Santa Barbara local who was born and raised in Carpinteria. As a boy, Matt saw the rewards of hard work while viewing construction projects with his dad in his big, International work truck. For years to come, he continued to pass these same sites and appreciate the lasting value of that work. Wanting this for himself, he imagined a future in which he would drive by his own construction projects, showing his children the value of quality craftsmanship.

After attending Fresno State University, Matt moved back to Santa Barbara to make this dream a reality. He worked for numerous construction companies, gaining extensive experience and knowledge in the industry. After a few years, Matt ventured out to start his own business, Shaw Concrete Construction. Understanding the fundamental importance of concrete, Matt wanted to provide the highest quality service to the Santa Barbara community. He envisioned a straightforward and honest company with loyal and diligent workers, and in 2004, he founded just that. As his business grew and expanded, Matt incorporated his company as Matt Shaw Concrete, Inc. Today, he oversees our team of premier workers who specialize in concrete construction, finishing, and much more. We are committed to providing the highest quality work to every project, whether it be a small driveway or a multi-million dollar residence.

With more than 20 years in the industry, Matt continues to be passionate about what he does. He is thankful to work alongside an incredible team, and he cares deeply about building strong relationships with our clients. He takes great pride in providing exceptional work that is not only professional and long-lasting, but also fulfills each client’s specific needs and desires.

If you have worked with us before, thank you for partnering with us in this incredible venture. If you are learning about us for the first time, welcome to the team! Reach out to us, and let’s get started.
