A Stunning Transformation | Avenue Del Mar

Matt Shaw Concrete is proud to have wrapped up Avenue Del Mar, a stunning coastal oasis in Carpinteria. Featuring dynamic architectural elements, this project was years in the making. Seeing the final product come to life is exciting, and we are honored to have worked with some of the best in the industry along the way. 

A Solid Foundation

Our team began working on Avenue Del Mar in 2020, laying the comprehensive foundation for the home. Creating a podium-style layout, we constructed columns and dowels to support the 6,450 square foot residence.

Luxury Reimagined

Seamlessly wrapping around the residence, Avenue Del Mar’s verandas offer luxurious amenities ideal for unwinding after a long day. The back patio features a spacious fireplace and chimney that add warmth to an outdoor dining experience. We used board-formed concrete and interlocking bricks to create an eye-catching design. 

At the front of the house, the primary bedroom, living room, and kitchen open to a sweeping terrace overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Raised garden beds bring contemporary lines and texture– a sleek addition to the home’s facade. Building a gas-lit fireplace, our team created a picturesque location for a glass of wine.
